Marta is an accomplished dressage rider, with experience in training horses from basic levels all the way up to Grand Prix. She has also competed internationally and trained students from many countries, including Switzerland, the U.S., Mexico and Spain. Marta started to ride at a very young age, which allows her to gain a vast experience not only as a rider but also as a trainer.

Marta is fluent in Spanish and English, and can teach lessons in either. However, perhaps her best language is the one she uses to effortlessly communicate with the horses she rides.  A kind and compassionate rider, the horses clearly love Marta and respond to her skills and tactful methods.

It is a rare person who can ride and teach equally well, but Marta is one of those gifted individuals. She has an uncanny way of watching a horse and rider perform and being able to immediately spot the root of the problems and suggest a variety of exercises to help the horse and rider achieve harmony and lightness. Marta’s teaching is based on the correct foundation of the training scale and the concept of riding the horse from back to front, rather than front to back as it is so common these days.

Thanks to Marta’s lifelong experience with a variety of horses and rides, she has an uncanny ability to watch a student and understand what they are feeling as they ride. Her focus is on improving horse and rider’s balance, and she does that through exercises that help both horse and rider to improve. She works on collection, rhythm and regularity while maintaining the harmony of this incredible equestrian discipline.  Marta believes in achieving results through harmony and without the use of force or violence.
